Construction Details
(1) Before driving the piles, the groove at the tip of the pile should be sealed to prevent soil from entering. The locking joint should be coated with butter or other grease. For steel sheet piles that have been neglected for a long time and have severe rusting and deformation of the locking joint, they should be repaired and corrected. For bent and deformed piles, hydraulic jacks or fire roasting methods can be used for correction.
(2) Dividing the flow sections during pile driving.
(3) In order to ensure the verticality of the steel sheet pile during pile driving, two theodolites are used to control the two directions.
(4) The position and direction of the first and second steel sheet piles to be driven should be precise to play the role of guiding templates. Therefore, measurements should be taken every 1m during pile driving, and after reaching the predetermined depth, temporary fixing should be done immediately using a steel bar or steel plate welded to the retaining bracket.
