Yuantai Derun Galvanized Strip Zinc Aluminum Magnesium Square Tube VS Traditional Galvanized Strip Square Tube Salt Spray Test NSS Anti-corrosion Performance Comparison

The neutral salt spray test (NSS) is an earlier and widely used accelerated corrosion test method. It is sprayed with 5% sodium chloride saline solution, and the pH of the solution is neutral (6-7). The experimental temperature is 35°C, and the salt mist precipitation rate is 1-2 ml/80 cm/hour. Neutral salt spray test for 24 hours, one year naturally, after 48 hours of neutral salt spray test NSS (two years naturally), the surface of the new generation of galvanized sheet and zinc-aluminum-magnesium square pipe from Yuantai Derun Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. Evaluation: Grade 8, defect area accounts for 0.15%~0.2%, appearance evaluation is B (there are few black spots caused by surface corrosion), and the surface of the sample is slightly faded;

Surface rating of general galvanized rectangular tube products: Grade 1: Defect area accounts for 35%~45%, appearance grade I (cracking), and the sample has matrix metal corrosion.

Through comparative experiments, it is concluded that the corrosion resistance of the new galvanized steel-aluminum-magnesium steel pipes from Yuantaiderun Steel Pipe Factory is obviously better than that of ordinary galvanized steel pipes.
