A. Before hoisting the steel beam, install the armrest rod and handrail rope on the beam so that after the main beam is hoisted into position, the handrail rope and steel column can be fastened to ensure the safety of construction workers.
After completing beam correction, secure with high-strength bolts for provisional fixation before proceeding with column correction. After the beam and column correction, tighten and connect high-strength bolts, weld the column and beam joint, and inspect the weld joint with an ultrasonic probe.
B. A column section can be divided into two layers, three layers, or four layers of the beam; in general, vertical members should be installed piece by piece from top to bottom. Because the upper and all-around beams are free, it is simple to install and ensure quality. Generally, in the actual operation of steel structure installation, steel beams of the same row of columns are installed from the middle span symmetrically to both ends extendedly; for steel beams of the same span, install the upper beam first, followed by the middle and lower beam.
C. When installing the main beam between the mounting and the column, the opening between the columns will be opened or closed. As a result, we must track, correct, and reserve deviation values.
D. It is preferable to coordinate the welding of nodes between columns and beams with the column. Generally, the top layer of a column's beam can be welded first, followed by nodes of each layer of the beam with a column from bottom to top.
E. Finish the secondary beam installation layer by layer, according to the actual construction.
