The "round-to-square hollow section" unit independently developed by Tianjin Yuantai Derun Group can process square tubes with a maximum diameter of 1000mm×1000mm, rectangular tubes with a maximum wall thickness of 800mm×1200mm, and large-diameter and thick-walled square and rectangular tubes with a maximum wall thickness of 50mm. It has successfully supplied large-diameter and thick-walled products with a maximum diameter of 900mm×900mm×46mm to the domestic market and exported products with a maximum diameter of 800mm×800mm×36mm, meeting the various complex technical requirements of domestic and foreign users. Among them, the rectangular tube product of 400mm×900mm×30mm also represents the leading level of "round-to-square" technology at home and abroad.

After years of process improvement, the outer arc of the large-diameter, ultra-thick-walled square tube products produced by Tianjin Yuantai Derun Group's "round to square" process has successfully overcome the defects of cracks that are prone to occur in the round-to-square bending process and the difficulty in controlling the flatness of the tube surface during the "deformation" process. It can meet the requirements of relevant domestic and international standards for products and the special technical parameter control requirements of customers. The products are widely praised in key engineering projects exported to the Middle East, and can basically replace the "box-type column" products in the original prefabricated steel structure enterprises in China. Since the square tube product has only one weld, its structural stability is far stronger than the "box-type column" product with four welds welded from steel plates.
