What Is The Electroplating Process Of Seamless Square Rectangular Tubes?
Leave a message
Seamless rectangular tubes are widely used in building steel frame structures, car manufacturing, etc. Manufacturing, mechanical equipment manufacturing, highway bridge structure, the main keel of the shipping containers, ship manufacturing, and other industries.
The production and processing of seamless square tubes is based on the basic principle of electrolysis. Through the electrolysis of metal ions, a layer of metal or aluminum alloy is deposited on the surface of the product to modify the physical and chemical effects of the product surface, and finally promote galvanizing. The steel plate has wear resistance, decoration, impact resistance, etc.
The electroplating process of seamless square tube production and processing mainly includes pretreating, electroplating, and post-plating treatment processes. The quality of the coating lies in the electroplating process of raw materials, and the electroplating process is affected by many factors. The factors are summarized as follows:
Sodium hydroxide solution: Sodium hydroxide solution has a double effect on the reaction. When its content is too high, it is easy to burn during high-temperature operation; which will reduce the quality of the zinc layer.
Iron composition: When the iron composition is too high, there will be relatively more iron in the coating, which will cause insufficient brightness of the product passivation treatment film; if the iron composition is too low, the iron composition in the hot-dip galvanized layer will be low, Reduce the corrosion resistance of the car sheet, and cause the surface of the car sheet to be olive-colored.
Temperature: In the electroplating process, the temperature is too high to cause the aqueous solution to loosen, the iron group composition in the coating rises, and the passivation treatment is uneven; when the reaction temperature is too low, the high current intensity area is easy to burn, and the coating ductility is very low Large and relatively slow deposition rate.
Negative electrode moving speed: During the electroplating process, it is necessary to ensure that the negative electrode is in a moving state. If the moving speed is too fast, the coating in the high current intensity area during the electroplating process will be rough; while the moving speed is very slow and it is likely to generate airflow, resulting in the coating of raw materials.
