Galvanized Coil Types

Galvanized coils can be classified and inventoried according to different surface conditions and treatment methods, including the following types:
Ordinary zinc coil: manufactured by the general hot dip method, with a uniform zinc layer on the surface, which can provide basic anti-corrosion properties.
Fine zinc coil: manufactured using the high-temperature melting method, which can obtain a finer zinc layer and provide better anti-corrosion performance.

Smooth zinc coil: Through further processing, the zinc layer is made flatter and the surface is smoother, which is suitable for manufacturing products with high appearance requirements.
Zinc-free coil: Based on an ordinary zinc coil, zinc is dissolved through a chemical treatment to obtain a zinc-free surface, which is suitable for coating and processing under special requirements.
Phosphated surface: Based on ordinary zinc coils, it is phosphate to form an organic phosphating film to provide better corrosion resistance.
In addition, there are some special types of galvanized coils, such as alloyed galvanized steel coils, which are manufactured by the hot dip method, but are heated after coming out of the tank to form an alloy film of zinc and iron, which has good paint adhesion and welding properties; as well as single-sided galvanized and double-sided galvanized steel coils. The former is only galvanized on one side and is suitable for welding, painting, anti-rust treatment, etc., while the latter is coated with a thin layer of zinc on the other side of the galvanized coil. , to overcome the shortcomings of one side not being coated with zinc.
Generally speaking, galvanized coils have good appearance and anti-corrosion properties, and are suitable for applications in many fields such as construction, industry, and the automotive industry. They can also be used to manufacture products such as home appliance casings and have a wide range of uses.
