A galvanized coil is a product that prevents oxidation and corrosion of steel by immersing steel sheets in molten zinc to form a zinc coating. According to different treatment methods and surface conditions, galvanized coils can be divided into many types. The following are some common classification instructions:

Ordinary zinc coil: Refers to the galvanized coil treated by the general hot dip method, with a uniform zinc coating on the surface.

Thin zinc coil: A galvanized coil with a thin surface zinc layer, usually used in some occasions that require higher coating thickness.

Flat zinc coil: A galvanized coil with a flat surface and no obvious unevenness or undulations.

Zinc-free coil: Coil that has not been galvanized on the surface and is usually used in some situations where corrosion resistance is not required.

Phosphated surface: By phosphating the surface, the corrosion resistance of galvanized coils can be enhanced, and surface hardness and coating adhesion improved.

Alloyed galvanized steel coil: After heat treatment, an alloy film of zinc and iron is formed, which has excellent paint adhesion and weldability.

Single-sided galvanized steel coils and double-sided galvanized steel coils: Single-sided galvanized coils are only galvanized on one side, while double-sided galvanized coils are coated with a thin layer of zinc on one side, which has better adaptability.

Adhesion and weldability: Galvanized coils have good adhesion and weldability, giving them superior performance in welding, painting, anti-rust treatment, processing, etc.

Anti-corrosion: A major feature of galvanized coils is their superior anti-corrosion performance, which can effectively protect steel materials. Therefore, it is widely used in construction, industry, automotive industry, commerce, and other fields.
