Five Things You Should Pay Attention To When Galvanized Steel Square Tubing

(1) Conversion sulfate galvanizing
Sulfate electroplating of zinc-iron alloy only retains zinc sulfate, the main salt of sulfate zinc plating. The remaining components such as aluminum sulfate and alum can be removed by adding sodium hydroxide during the plating bath treatment to form insoluble hydroxide and precipitate. For organic additives, add powdered activated carbon to remove them by adsorption. Aluminum sulfate and potassium aluminum sulfate are difficult to completely remove at one time and will affect the brightness of the square tube coating, but it is not serious. After the solution is processed, the component content required by the new process can be added, that is, the transformation is completed.
(2) Cleaning process
The galvanizing process for galvanized steel square tubing adopts the sulfate electroplating zinc-iron alloy process, which means that there are direct perforations between the production line troughs and the troughs without any carry-out or overflow of the solution. Each process of the production process is composed of a circulation system. The solutions in each tank, namely acid and alkali solution, electroplating solution, light extraction and passivation solution, etc., are only recycled and not leaked or discharged outside the system. The production line only has multiple cleaning tanks and uses circulation. Reuse and discharge regularly, especially in production processes that do not produce wastewater without cleaning after passivation.
(3) Optimizing sulfate plating
The biggest advantage of sulfate galvanizing is that the current efficiency is as high as 100% and the deposition rate is fast, which is unmatched by other galvanizing processes. The sulfate electroplating zinc-iron alloy process optimizes the traditional sulfate galvanizing process. Only the main salt zinc sulfate is retained, and the remaining components are discarded. The reorganization of the process not only brings forward the advantages of high current efficiency and fast deposition rate of the original process but also greatly improves the dispersion ability and deep plating ability. It is used for continuous electroplating of square and rectangular tubes. The coating grains are finer and brighter than the original ones, and the deposition rate is fast.
(4) Galvanizing equipment
The equipment of the tube galvanizing tank is relatively complex. The tank body is composed of upper and lower parts. The upper part is the plating tank and the lower part is the solution circulation storage tank, forming a trapezoidal tank body that is narrow at the top and wide at the bottom. There is a channel for galvanized pipe electroplating operation in the plating tank. There are two through holes at the bottom of the tank that are connected to the lower storage tank and form a plating solution recycling system with the submersible pump. Therefore, the galvanizing of square and rectangular tubes is dynamic, and the plating solution is also dynamic.
(5) Fast deposition rate
The current efficiency of the sulfate electroplating zinc-iron alloy process is as high as 100%, and the deposition rate is unparalleled by any galvanizing process, which is difficult to achieve by continuous galvanizing. At the same time, the coating of the processed square and rectangular tubes is brighter and more detailed.
