Does The Length Of The Welded Pipe Affect The Load Carrying Capacity?

There are two types of welded pipes, one is mobile welded pipe and other is steel pipe welded pipe, or it can be said to be welded pipe and steel pipe. After all, it is connected by fasteners, and various steel pipes are lapped into welded pipes for construction workers to use. So what problems should we pay attention to in the process of using welded steel pipes?

If you are building heavy-duty welded pipes, you need to pay attention to the thickness of the floor. If the thickness exceeds 300mm and the load of the welded pipe exceeds 15KN/mm2, you should hire relevant technical experts to analyze and demonstrate the construction. It is necessary to distinguish which parts of the welded pipe and steel pipe length will affect the weight of the load. Regarding the formwork support, it should be considered that the free length of the upper part should not be too long, generally shorter than 500 mm, and the vertical pole is generally at the top when calculating. The first step and the bottom step are subjected to the largest force. Since the force is the largest, it should be the most important calculation point. When the bearing capacity cannot meet the requirements, the number of vertical poles should be increased and the distance between the vertical poles should be reduced.

At present, there are some common problems with welded pipes. The quality of steel pipes, fasteners, and jacking brackets is always unqualified, but almost no construction personnel will take these into consideration during construction. Some inspections and tests that we should usually pay attention to include: whether the sweeping pole is missing, whether the vertical and horizontal junctions are connected, whether the distance between the sweeping pole and the ground meets the standard, whether the scaffolding is cracked, and whether the thickness of the scaffolding is thick enough, Is the installation of the scaffold board in accordance with the standard operation? Whether there is an anti-drop net installed between the pole and the wall, whether the wall parts are rigidly connected inside and outside, whether the distance between the guardrails should be greater than 600 mm, and whether the fasteners are fully tightened or not slip phenomenon.
