Analysis Of The Allowable Range Of Drop Of Galvanized Steel Pipe

1. What is the drop of galvanized steel pipe?
Galvanized steel pipes are made of black steel pipes that undergo chemical treatments such as oil washing and pickling, and then hot-dip galvanizing. They have the characteristics of anti-corrosion, corrosion resistance, and smooth surface. The height difference of galvanized steel pipe refers to the phenomenon that the heights of the two ends of the steel pipe are different. The reason for the difference is mainly caused by factors such as bending, torsion, and length error of the steel pipe.

2. What is the allowable range?
Generally speaking, the allowable range of the height difference of galvanized steel pipes is that the height of one end cannot exceed 1.5 times the height of the other end. For example, assuming the length of the pipe is 1 meter, the height difference between the two ends cannot exceed 15 mm. If it exceeds this range, it means that the steel pipe has quality problems and needs to be replaced.
3. How to avoid the drop?
In order to avoid the drop phenomenon of galvanized steel pipes, the following points need to be paid attention to:
1. Before installing the pipe, check whether the pipe is bent or twisted, and replace the problematic pipe in time.
2. During the installation process, be careful not to bend or deform the steel pipe when fixing it.
3. During use, try to avoid excessive extrusion and impact, and replace it in time if problems are found.
