Product Introduction: 

SA516 Boiler Plates are premium quality steel plates that are designed to withstand high temperatures and pressures, making them ideal for use in industrial boilers and pressure vessels. These plates are manufactured using high-grade steel which guarantees high durability, strength, and corrosion resistance.

Chemical Composition:

The chemical composition of SA516 Boiler Plates includes carbon, manganese, phosphorous, sulfur, and silicon. The carbon content in these plates ranges from 0.18% to 0.26%. The manganese content is between 0.55% to 1.30%. The phosphorous and sulfur content is limited to 0.035%. Silicon is present in small amounts, ranging from 0.15% to 0.40%.

Mechanical Properties:

SA516 Boiler Plates have excellent mechanical properties that make them ideal for use in high-temperature and high-pressure applications. The tensile strength of these plates ranges between 485 MPa to 620 MPa, while the yield strength ranges from 275 MPa to 390 MPa. The elongation at break is between 17% to 21%.
