The Electroplating Process Of Galvanized Square Tube

The electroplating process of galvanized square tube mainly includes pretreatment, electroplating, and post-plating treatment. The coating quality depends on the material's electroplating process, and the galvanized square tube's electroplating process is affected by many factors. The six factors are summarized as follows:

1. Zinc content of galvanized square tube: The higher the zinc purity of the zinc ingot, the narrower its bright range, the easier it is for the automotive sheet to obtain a thicker coating, and the lower the iron content in the coating; when the purity of the zinc ingot is too low, its bright range will be Wider, it will take longer to reach the specified zinc layer thickness, which will result in higher iron content in the zinc layer of galvanized square tube.

2. Sodium hydroxide of galvanized square tube: Sodium hydroxide has a dual effect on the reaction. When its content is too high, scorching is easy to occur during high-temperature operation; and when its content is too low, the solution dispersibility is poor, which will reduce the quality of the zinc layer.

3. Iron content of galvanized square tube: When the iron content is too high, the iron in the coating will be correspondingly large, which will lead to insufficient brightness of the passivation film of the product; while the iron content is too low, the iron content in the galvanized layer will be low, reducing the automobile sheet. Corrosion resistance, and will cause the surface of the car panel to be olive-colored.

4. Brightener of galvanized square tube: Now more brighteners are used, composed of ZF-100A and ZF-100B. The former concentration is too high, which will enhance the brittleness of the coating, while too low will cause the coating in the low current area to be sparse, resulting in poor passivation. average phenomenon.

5. Temperature of galvanized square tube: If the temperature is too high in the electroplating process, the dispersibility of the solution will decrease, the iron content in the coating will increase, and the passivation will be uneven; when the reaction temperature is too low, the high current density area will be easily scorched, and the coating will be brittle and deposited.

6. Cathode moving speed of galvanized square tube: The cathode must be in a moving state during the electroplating process. If the moving speed is too fast, the coating in the high current density area during the electroplating process will be rough; if the moving speed is too slow, airflow may be generated, resulting in an uneven coating of the material.
