Pay Attention To Seven Points in The Production Of Square Tube Steel
Leave a message
The following seven safety considerations should be taken into account when producing square tube steel:
1. The use of low-pressure oxygen results in a negative oxygen pipe pressure and a blockage of the oxygen lance's nozzle holes, which are easily tempered by the gas produced by a high-temperature molten pool, leading to an explosion accident. As a result, oxygen pressure needs to be carefully watched. Avoid pipe tempering by taking your time when using oxygen for multiple furnaces.
2. Locomotives and lifting equipment must transport the raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods needed for the production of square tube steel from steel. This process involves a lot of risky elements. Therefore, when planning the workshop, take into account adequate space, focus on innovative equipment, and strengthen maintenance. Additionally, it is essential to raise worker productivity levels and strictly adhere to product safety regulations.
3. All of the high-temperature melts, including the molten steel, molten iron, steel slag, and slag at the bottom of the steelmaking furnace, will vaporize upon contact with water. The main safeguards against molten material exploding when it comes into contact with water are to supply the cooling water system with safe water, purify the water without leaks, and dry the materials, containers, and work areas.
4. The upper portion of the oxygen lance's oxygen pipe bend, also known as the reducing pipe, has a high flow rate and a high local resistance loss. It is simple to create a high-purity, high-pressure, high-speed oxygen explosion if the degreasing is dirty or there is slag in the pipe. By enhancing design, avoiding sharp bends, reducing flow rate, blowing pipes frequently, cleaning filters, and perfecting degreasing, we can prevent accidents in the manufacture of square tube steel.
5. The liquid of iron, steel, and slag has a very high temperature, strong heat radiation, and is prone to splashing. Burn accidents are very likely to happen due to the high temperature of the surroundings and the equipment. As a result, machinery like iron mixing furnaces, molten iron tanks, molten steel tanks, and steelmaking furnaces should be inspected and overhauled on a regular basis. Improve personal protection, pay attention to improving safety technical regulations and strictly implement them, and replace air leakage-prone flanges and valves frequently.
6. Operational errors cause the oxygen lance to become blocked, and the water that has accumulated there is vaporized due to the high temperature of the molten pool, which prevents the entry of high-pressure water. When the oxygen lance's vapor pressure exceeds the wall's maximum strength, an explosion results. To prevent operational mistakes, greater caution should be used when addressing such problems.
7. It should be taken into account when producing square tube steel that the steelmaking workshop's structure can withstand high-temperature radiation, has adequate strength and rigidity, and can withstand loads and collisions without deforming. Additionally, it's important to fully take into account the safety requirements of the workforce when working in a large workspace with good ventilation and lighting, which is conducive to heat dissipation and flue gas emission.
